Writers block for the first post is never a good sign.
My husband, cat and I recently moved to the middle of the country away from family and friends. I’m starting this blog in hopes of keeping everyone updated of our adventures. Nothing like a good photo to go along with a story you heard over the phone. I’m hoping our little camera is up for the job!
My goal is to update a minimum of twice a week, hopefully three or four times if time allows. Topics you’ll see frequently are pies, baking, hiking, biking to work, books, our transistion to a more sustainable living, and hopefully soon, our attempt to find the starter home of our dreams.

I started blogging for the complete opposite reason – we moved back across the country closer to family, and I blogged to escape them!
